Soudal Decorators Caulk is an acrylic polymer based sealant and filler which is solvent-free, virtually odourless and very easy to apply.

Soudal Decorators Caulk has very good adhesion on many porous surfaces and can be painted over after curing.

Applications

Typical Applications:

  • Sealing of joints with movement of up to 10%.

  • Sealing of window sills, skirting boards, architraves, plasterboard, brickwork etc.

  • Filling of small cracks in plaster.

Surface Preparation:

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

For use on most porous surfaces.

Highly porous surfaces should be primed with a suitable primer.

Not suitable for use on natural stone, bitumen, glass and metal.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: With a manual or pneumatic caulking gun. Finish with spatula or filling knife.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution before skinning.

  • Repair: With the same material

Joint Dimensions:

  • Minimum Width for Joints: 1 mm

  • Maximum Width for Joints: 10 mm

  • Minimum Depth for Joints: 5 mm

  • Recommendation Sealing Jobs: Joint Width = Joint Depth.

Remarks:

  • Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.

  • Do not apply when rain or frost is imminent

  • Decorators Caulk can be painted over with most paints.

  • The paint should be sufficiently elastic to be applied on a plasto-elastic sealant. A preliminary test is recommended.

Soudal Acryrub® SWS is an Airtight, Premium Quality, Highly Elastic Acrylic Polymer Sealant and Filler which is solvent free, virtually odourless and very easy to apply.

Soudal Acryrub® SWS is colourfast and waterproof after curing. It can also be painted over after cure. Very good adhesion on many porous surfaces. Very low emissions - EC-1R PLUS Label.

Transpacryl is suitable for use on all porous building surfaces, anodized aluminium and ceramic tiles.

Highly porous surfaces should be primed with a suitable primer or with diluted Transpacryl (1 part Transpacryl and 2 parts water).

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: With manual  or pneumatic caulking gun. Finish with spatula or filling knife.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use.

Soudal Cement Repair Express is a High Speed, Acrylic Polymer Based, Textured Repair Cement which is used for quick and easy repairation of joints and cracks in concrete.

Soudal Cement Repair Express can be applied by trowel or gun and is sandable and overpaintable once dried.

Soudal Cement Repair Express is non-shrinking and can be used for both internal and external applications.

Application

Typical Applications:

  • Repairing holes and cracks in concrete and cement.

  • Repairing joints in masonry.

  • Repairing of damages in concrete stairs etc.

Surface Preparation:

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

Prepare very porous surfaces with diluted 'Cement Repair Express' (1 part Cement Repair Express and 2 parts water).

Suitable for use on all common porous surfaces in construction, and renovation.

NOT suitable for use on bitumen, glass, metal, PE, PP or PTFE.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

Remove any loose parts before applying Cement Repair Express.

Apply the sealant by means of a handheld caulking gun or a spatula. Finishing with a wet filling knife or spatula gives the smoothest result.

For large(er) cracks, static joints or large screw holes apply the product preferably in two times.

Depending on the porosity of the substrate apply the second amount after approximately 30 minutes.

Depending on the amount of material applied the repair can be painted after a few hours

Uncured Cement Repair Express may be removed from skin and tools with water.

Cured filler must be removed mechanically.

Joint Dimensions:

  • Static Joints: Up to 5mm.

Open up cracks, remove loose parts, clean up joint sides and moisten slightly.

Highly porous surfaces should be primed with a suitable surface primer, or with diluted Repacryl D (1 part Repacryl D + 2 parts water).

Not suitable for use on natural stone, bitumen, glass and metal.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: In case of repairs of cracks in e.g. plaster apply the sealant by means of a caulking gun in the crack. Paint immediately with wall paint or finish with e.g. a wet sponge. In case of joints apply the sealant by means of a manual- or pneumatic caulking gun. Next finish with for example a filling-knife. Do not apply when rain or frost is imminent during curing process.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution before skinning.

  • Repair: With the same material

Joint Dimensions:

  • Application Method: With a manual or pneumatic caulking gun. Finish with spatula or filling knife. Spread a minimum of 20 mm wet film thickness with a brush, or pump into well fitted joints. Seal all joints, seams, and penetrations in the duct-work to ensure an airtight system.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use. Cured Soudaduct® should only be removed mechanically.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution before skinning.
