Platinum Chemicals supply a wide range of Complete Damp Proofing Membrane Kits which include a roll of Damp Proofing Membrane, the recommended number of Fixing Plugs and, if required, a Sealing Product (sealing mastic or sealing washer) for the Fixing Plugs.
Damp Proofing Membranes are thin, studded membranes manufactured from either HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) or PP (Polypropylene) which are used to create a physical barrier between any rising dampness within the wall and the wall finish. This ensures that the wall finish will never be affected by dampness or salt contamination. These types of membranes are most likely to be applied above ground level.
Most Damp Proofing Membranes have a meshed surface on one side which acts as a 'key' for plaster, render or to receive dot & dab plasterboard.
Our full range of Damp Proofing Membranes come in all different Brands, shapes and sizes, so we have put together a range of kits to make ordering online a much easier experience, giving you all the necessary materials to get the job done.
