After the injection of a Chemical DPC (Cream or Fluid), re-plastering with an appropriate salt resistant product, such as a Renovation Plaster or a sand / cement mix containing a suitable Render Additive, is essential to prevent further damage to the plaster finish.

Efflorescent salts are often left behind in the wall after a chemical DPC, which are harmful to the plaster finish, leaving the appearance of damp patches.

A suitable re-plastering specification must therefore be used, including a salt inhibiting and waterproofing product such as Renovation Plaster or RenderProof.
