Understanding Disposable Coverall Markings:

EN 13982-1:2004 (Type 5):

 Dry Particle Suit. This specifies the minimum requirements for chemical protective clothing resistant to penetration by airbourne solid particles. Protects against hazardous dust and dry particles.

EN 13034:2005 (Type 6 and Type PB 6):

 Reduce Spray Suit (Type 6) and partial body protection items (PB 6). This specifies the minimum requirements for chemical protective clothing offering limited protective performance against liquid chemicals (Type 6 and Type PB 6 equipment). This standard tests for liquid chemical sprays and splashes that are not directional or built up on a suit but there may be a fine mist of droplets in the atmosphere.

EN 1149-5:2008:

 Electrostatic requirements - surface resistivity (test methods and requirements). This tests for the removal of electrostatic to avoid sparks that could cause fire / hazard to the wearer.

EN 14126:2003:

 This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for re-usable and limited use protective clothing providing protection against infective agents. Clothing worn by surgical teams or drapes laid on patients to prevent cross-contamination during surgical interventions are not covered by the scope of this standard.

EN 1073-2:2002:

 This European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for non-ventilated protective clothing protecting the wearer against particulate radioactive contamination. Such clothing is intended to protect only the body, arms and legs of the wearer, but it may be used with accessories which provide protection to additional areas of the wearer (e.g. boots, gloves, RPE). Protection to these other areas is specified in other European Standard.
