Soudaseal® 215LM is a Premium Quality, Low Modulus, 100% Hybrid Polymer Sealant.

Soudaseal® 215LM is odourless and has an extended open time compared to silicones to allow longer tooling of product.

Primerless adhesion on nearly all common construction materials such as plastics,
masonry, metals and wood - even when surfaces are damp.

Soudaseal® 215LM can be used on sensitive metals such as copper and lead. It is non-staining when applied on natural stone substrates, with no hydrophobic effect. No bubble formation within the sealant when applied on damp surfaces.

High performance mechanical properties. Colour stable, UV resistant and free of harmful chemicals (i.e isocyanates, solvents, halogens and acids).

Soudaseal® 215LM is paintable with all water-based paints and has excellent weathering resistance in all climates. Easy to apply, even at low temperatures.

Soudaseal® 215LM is airtight when used as part of Soudal Window System - SWS®.

Typical Applications:

  • Construction and industrial sealing applications.

  • Perimeter sealing of all window and door frame substrates - PVCu, aluminium and wood.

  • Sealing of roofline and drainage systems.

  • Sealing of expansion and connection joints in the building industry, including natural stone.

  • Roofing seals including lead, copper, roofing slates and fibre-cement.

  • Industrial applications; coated metals, anodized aluminium, stainless steel.

  • HVAC ducting, pipework and drainage joints. General maintenance and sealing.

Surface Preparation:

All smooth surfaces can be treated with Soudal Surface Activator. Porous surfaces in water loaded applications should be primed with Soudal Primer 150.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: With manual or pneumatic caulking gun.

  • Cleaning: Clean with white spirit or Surface Cleaner immediately after use.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution before skinning.

  • Repair: With the same material

Joint Dimensions:

  • Minimum Width for Joints: 5 mm

  • Maximum Width for Joints: 30 mm

  • Minimum Depth for Joints: 5 mm

  • Recommendation Sealing Jobs: Joint Width = 2 x Joint Depth.

Remarks:

  • Soudaseal® 215LM may be overpainted with water based paints, however due to the large number of paints and varnishes available we strongly suggest a compatibility test before application.

  • The drying time of alkyd resin based paints may increase.

  • Soudaseal® 215LM can not be used as a glazing sealant.

  • Soudaseal® 215LM is suitable for sealing on natural stone on condition the joint dimensions and joint movement are respected. Avoid permanent pressure on the sealant.

  • When applying, make sure not to spill any sealant on the surface of materials. Taping the surface around the joint can prevent this.

  • A total absence of UV can cause a color change of the sealant.

Soudaflex® 40FC is a High Modulus Polyurethane Based Sealant & Adhesive which is very easy to apply and stays elastic after curing.

Soudaflex® 40FC has very good adhesion on many materials and has excellent resistance to many chemicals.

Soudaflex® 40FC was developed especially for concrete applications and is paintable with some types of paint after curing.

Application

Typical Applications:

  • Sealing and bonding in the manufacturing and construction industries.

Surface Preparation:

All surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

Apply Soudal Primer 100 on porous substrates. Always use Primer 100 on natural stone, no primer required on non-porous substrates. All smooth surfaces can be treated with Soudal Surface Activator.

There is no adhesion on glass, PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and bituminous substrates.

We recommend a preliminary compatibility test.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: With manual or pneumatic caulking gun.

  • Cleaning: Clean with white spirit or Surface Cleaner immediately after use.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution before skinning.

  • Repair: With the same material

Joint Dimensions:

  • Minimum Width for Bonding: 2 mm

  • Minimum Width for Joints: 5 mm

Remarks:

  • When painted with oxidative drying paints disturbances in the drying of the paint may occur (we recommend to do a compatibility test before application).

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

  • Application Method: With a manual or pneumatic caulking gun. Finish with spatula or filling knife.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a surface cleaner immediately after use.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution before skinning.

  • Repair: With the same material

Joint Dimensions:

  • Minimum Width for Joints: 5 mm

  • Maximum Width for Joints: 20 mm

  • Minimum Depth for Joints: 5 mm

  • Recommendation Sealing Jobs: Joint Width = Joint Depth. Use PE backer rods before applying the sealant in large joints to avoid 3-point adhesion.

Remarks:

  • Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.

  • Paintable with most paints.

  • The paint should be sufficiently elastic to be applied to a plastic sealant.

  • Given the great diversity in available paints it is recommended to do a compatibility test prior to application.

  • Not suitable for sealing of insulation glass units or safety glass.

  • Do not use on natural stones like marble, granite etc... may cause staining.

Soudal Silirub® HT-A° has primerless adhesion on many common construction materials including glass, ceramic, porcelain, metals and wood.

Soudal Silirub® HT-A° is resistant to UV, rain, snow, ozone and many chemicals and has high movement capability.

Application

Areas for Use:

  • For the sealing of elastic joints which require a high temperature resistance (i.e gaskets, hot water installations, pipework, ovens, furnaces and chimney flues).

  • Suitable for external and internal applications.

Surface Preparation:

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

Porous surfaces in water loaded applications should be primed with Soudal Primer 150. No primer needed for non-porous substrates.

Not suitable for use on concrete or PVC.

There is no adhesion on PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and bituminous substrates. We recommend a preliminary compatibility test.

  • Do not use on natural stones like marble, granite etc. as it may cause staining.

  • Direct contact with the secondary sealing of insulating glass units (insulation) and the PVB-film of safety glass must be avoided.

  • When finished with a finishing solution or soapy solution, make sure that the surfaces are not touched by this solution. This will cause the sealant not to adhere to that surface. Therefore we recommend to only dip the finishing tool in this solution.

  • We strongly recommend not to apply the product in full sunlight as it will dry very fast.

  • Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible

Soudal Firecement HT° is a High Temperature Resistant Fire Cement Sealant which cures to form a hard setting seal and withstands temperatures of up to 1500°C.

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

For use on brickwork, concrete and metals.

Slight moistening of the surface will increase adhesive strength

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: With a manual or pneumatic caulking gun, spatula or a trowel.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use.

  • Repair: With the same material

Joint Dimensions:

Remarks:

  • A slight heating up of the installation during 12 hours after application of Firecement HT° will prevent the forming of bubbles and improve the sealant structure.

Soudal Repa-Cryl D is a Textured, Specialist Acrylic Polymer Based Sealant & Filler for use in areas where a Granular type finish is required.

Soudal Repa-Cryl D is solvent-free, virtually odourless and is very easy to apply. Colourfast and waterproof after curing.

Soudal Repa-Cryl D can be painted over after curing and has very good adhesion on most porous surfaces. Suitable for Interior and Exterior use.

Application

Typical Applications:

  • Sealing compound cracks in concrete, pebble dash, plaster, stucco and other textured cementitious surfaces.

  • Joints between window sills, skirting boards, floors and brickwork.

Surface Preparation:

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

Open up cracks, remove loose parts, clean up joint sides and moisten slightly.

Highly porous surfaces should be primed with a suitable surface primer, or with diluted Repacryl D (1 part Repacryl D + 2 parts water).

Not suitable for use on natural stone, bitumen, glass and metal.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: In case of repairs of cracks in e.g. plaster apply the sealant by means of a caulking gun in the crack. Paint immediately with wall paint or finish with e.g. a wet sponge. In case of joints apply the sealant by means of a manual- or pneumatic caulking gun. Next finish with for example a filling-knife. Do not apply when rain or frost is imminent during curing process.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution before skinning.

  • Repair: With the same material

Joint Dimensions:

  • Static joints, gaps or seals up to maximum 2mm.

Remarks:

Application

Typical Applications:

Soudal Soudaduct® is used for the sealing of all types of HVAC duct systems including sheet metal, duct boards and flexible ducts.

Soudaduct® can also be used for the sealing of seams, spigot joints, flange joints and metal fabrications.

Surface Preparation:

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

Highly porous surfaces should be primed with a suitable primer.

This product is suitable for use on all kind of ducting materials.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: With a manual or pneumatic caulking gun. Finish with spatula or filling knife. Spread a minimum of 20 mm wet film thickness with a brush, or pump into well fitted joints. Seal all joints, seams, and penetrations in the duct-work to ensure an airtight system.

  • Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use. Cured Soudaduct® should only be removed mechanically.

  • Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution before skinning.

  • Repair: With the same material

  • Maximum Width for Joints: 20 mm
