Platon Plaster Plugs
Platon Plaster Plugs are the recommended fixing plugs used to fix and secure Platon Damp Proof Membranes to the wall / substrate.
An 8mm SDS Drill Bit is normally required for fixing Platon Plaster Plugs, however a 7mm SDS Drill Bit may be used in 'poorer' substrates.
Platon Plaster Plugs are supplied in sizes (W) 8mm x (L) 50mm or (W) 8mm x (L) 70mm and available in a wide range of pack sizes, from a Box of 40 to a Box of 500 Fixings.

Platon Plaster Plugs
Platon Plaster Plugs can be used internally and externally to secure Platon Damp Proof Membranes, primarily used in above ground installations.
Use an 8mm SDS Drill Bit is normally used to drill through membrane and substrate prior to hammering home fixing plug. However a 7mm SDS Drill Bit may be used in 'poorer' substrates.
In such areas where there is a high risk of dampness, we recommend 'sealing' around the plug head prior to fixing. Use either Platon Plaster Plug Seals or Newton 801-M Sealing Mastic to provide a Damp Proof seal around the plug head.
