COVID-19 Update From Platinum Chemicals

Throughout the Global Covid-19 Pandemic, we want to reassure our customers that we are open for business and we are shipping orders while also taking strict health and safety measures to ensure business continuity.

We are maintaining the highest standard of hygiene in our office and practicing social distancing. Being a small team, we are able to create a tightly controlled environment and follow all guidance from World Heath Organisation (WHO) and the Government. We are constantly monitoring for any changes to this guidance and will take necessary action if needed whilst keeping our customers informed.

We are working closely with our suppliers to ensure stock levels are maintained and are in regular contact for updates.

Customer Service

We are experiencing a significantly higher number of orders and phone calls at the moment so please bear with us if we cannot answer your call. Alternatively you can email us at info@platinumchemicals.co.uk

Our Phone Lines are open Weekdays Only between 08:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 16:30 GMT.

We are unable to receive phone calls between 13:01 - 13:59, however you may leave us a voice message and we will return your call.

Despatch and Delivery Times

We aim maintain our usual dispatch times (Same Day Despatch on Orders placed before 2:30pm), however, delivery times will be dependent on our couriers. We expect Deliveries to arrive to Customers within 1 - 2 Working Days after Despatch.

All orders will be despatched on a 'Next Day Delivery Service', however this is not a 'Guaranteed' Next Day Delivery Service.

Our Click & Collect Service will continue to operate as normal.

We will continue to keep customers informed during this time.

Receiving Your Goods

In order to protect the safety of both consignees and delivery drivers, both our main Couriers will temporarily be adopting the NO CONTACT DELIVERY PRACTICE.

Consignees will not be required to personally sign the ePOD device or hard copy document, but will be required to provide their name verbally to the delivery driver whereby the driver will include this on the delivery record.

Should a customer refuse to verbally provide their name, the consignment will not be left with them but fall under the ‘refused goods’ process.

Stay Safe And Healthy

As already mentioned, our Team at Platinum Chemicals are following guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the National Health Service (NHS) to minimise the spread of this virus.

We will continue to wash hands and sanitise regularly, particularly before and during the handling of any paperwork, parcels etc...

We will also continue to monitor the situation closely and act quickly on the advice of the health authorities.

We appreciate your patience and support as a customer.

Best wishes, stay safe and healthy.

Danny Neill,
Operations Manager
