While Wykamol Membrane Sealing Tape is used for flat, linear joints between adjacent membrane sheets, Wykamol Sealing Rope is intended for three-dimensional waterproofing details where tape cannot easily sit flat, follow the shape or maintain full contact. Its bead format allows the material to be formed around fixing plugs, pipe penetrations, cable routes, protrusions, irregular junctions, shaped membrane cuts and awkward substrate details. This helps maintain the continuity of the waterproof layer where the membrane has been interrupted or where the detailing requires a more adaptable sealing material.
