Substrate Suitability:

Soudal Compact Fill & Insulate Expanding Foam is highly versatile and can be used on various construction materials, including wood, metal, concrete, brick, and PVC.

It exhibits exceptional adhesion capabilities without the need for primers, ensuring reliable bonding on different surfaces.

Surface Preparation:

To prepare the surfaces for application, shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least 20 seconds.

Prior to use, remove the clip from the adaptor. Each tin is equipped with a pair of polythene gloves attached to the bottom, which should be worn during use to protect your hands.

For optimal performance, lightly moisten the surfaces with a water sprayer before applying the foam.

Application Method:

Hold the can upside down and fill the holes and cavities to approximately one-third of their capacity. The foam will expand to fill the remaining space, so it's important not to overfill.
It is recommended to use the foam within 20 minutes of the first application. Shake the can regularly during application to ensure consistent foam consistency and performance.
For larger gaps or areas requiring multiple layers, apply the foam in layers, allowing each layer to cure before applying the next. Moisten the previous layer lightly before applying the next one.
If necessary, fresh foam can be removed using Soudal Gun & Foam Cleaner or acetone. However, cured foam can only be removed mechanically or by utilizing Soudal Cured PU Foam Remover. Never attempt to burn away cured foam.

Cleaning:

When cleaning freshly applied foam, use Soudal Gun & Foam Cleaner to quickly and effectively remove any excess foam from surfaces, applicators, and tools.

Once the foam has cured, it can only be removed mechanically or with Soudal Cured PU Foam Remover. It is imperative to follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines when using any cleaning or removal products.
