Soudal Transpacryl is a transparent acrylic polymer-based sealant and filler that is expertly formulated to provide a colorfast and waterproof bond. This sealant is ideal for a wide range of applications, making it a popular choice for use in the building industry.
Soudal Transpacryl is easy to apply, and with its solvent-free formulation, it is virtually odourless, making it safe and easy to use. It also provides a very strong bond, which ensures that it has good adhesion on many porous surfaces and can hold up to 15% movement. This feature makes it an ideal choice for use in sealing compounds for cracks in concrete and plaster, as well as joints with movements up to 15%.
This sealant is perfect for connection joints in the building industry, providing a durable and flexible bond that can withstand the challenges of daily use. It can be used in joints between window sills, between skirting board and floor, between brickwork, and other similar applications.
Transparency After Curing: Soudal Transpacryl cures to a transparent finish that will blend in seamlessly with the surrounding area, providing an attractive and smooth appearance.
Very Good Adhesion on Many Porous Surfaces: This sealant has strong adhesion properties and is capable of holding well on a wide variety of porous surfaces.

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
Transpacryl is suitable for use on all porous building surfaces, anodized aluminium and ceramic tiles.
Highly porous surfaces should be primed with a suitable primer or with diluted Transpacryl (1 part Transpacryl and 2 parts water).
We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.
Application Method: With Caulking Gun. Tool with Soudaglatt Smoothing Tool for a smooth finish.
Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use.
Finishing: With a soapy solution before skinning.

Minimum Width for Joints: 5mm
Maximum Width for Joints: 10mm
Minimum Depth for Joints: 5mm
Recommendation Sealing Jobs: Joint Width = Joint Depth. Use a PE Backer Rod before applying sealant in large joints to avoid 3-point adhesion.
Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
Do not apply when rain or frost is imminent
Transpacryl can be painted over with most paints.
The paint should be sufficiently elastic to be applied on a plasto-elastic sealant. A preliminary test is recommended.
