TRITEC 60 PLUS Fungicide & Insecticide is a super concentrated Woodworm and Dry Rot Timber Treatment supplied in a plastic container.

The special micro-emulsion formulation in TRITEC 60 PLUS Fungicide & Insecticide leads to a better penetration than obtained with the older traditional water based emulsified preservatives.

TRITEC 60 PLUS Fungicide & Insecticide will provide the necessary control & long term protection of wood against wood boring insects & wood destroying fungi (Dry Rot & Wet Rots) for many years.

  TRITEC 60 PLUS carries the HSE Approval No 10537.

Supplied in 400g containers, super-concentrated solution. Dilutes to make up to 25 Litres.

Active Ingredients

Permethrin

Permethrin 13.02% w/w: A commonly used pyrethroid insecticide which has excellent efficacy against a wide range of wood boring insects.

Propiconazole

Propiconazole 18.584% w/w: A Triazole Fungicide which has excellent efficacy against a range of wood destroying fungi.

IPBC (3-Iodo-2-Propynyl Butyl Carbamate)

IPBC (3-Iodo-2-Propynyl Butyl Carbamate) 6.125% w/w: A Carbamate Fungicide which is added to improve the efficacy envelope even further providing excellent efficacy against a range of wood staining fungi.

Application

Typical Applications:

For use on internal & external timbers, fencing & cladding out of ground & surface water contact as a wood preservative against wood boring insects & wood destroying fungi (Dry Rot & Wet Rots).

Bats:

The active ingredients have been accepted by the Nature Conservancy bodies as suitable for the treatment of roof voids where bats roost.

However, it is a legal requirement to notify the appropriate Nature Conservancy body prior to any treatment of roof spaces where bats have been identified.

Treatment must not be carried out whilst bats are at roost.

Preparation:

Dilute TRITEC 60 PLUS Fungicide & Insecticide 400gm container with 24.85 litres of water. Wood should be clean and free from wood dust and other contaminants.

Application:

The diluted product can be applied by brush or spray at the rate of 1 litre of product per 3-4m² of timber surface to refusal.

Alternatively, timber may be dipped for a maximum of 3 minutes.

Timber to be treated should be reasonably dry before treatment.

Any paint varnish or other surface coating should be removed.

Any bark should be removed to increase penetration of the treatment.

Coverage:

1 litre of diluted product per 3-4m²

Drying:

Product is touch dry in 1 hour depending on wood and ambient conditions. Unprotected persons and animals should be kept away from treated surfaces for at least 1 hour or until dry.

Finish:

Product does not have a finish and leaves the same effect as applying water or solvent. It is always advisable to try on a small inconspicuous area before application to ensure product finish is as expected.

Stability:

Product is stable in original packaging for 4 years when stored under ambient conditions. After 4 years product should be re-tested every 6 months to ensure active ingredient levels are within specification.

Diluted product remains stable for up to 6 months after date of mixing.
