Soudal | High Temperature Cement Based Sealant
Soudal Firecement HT° is a High Temperature Resistant Fire Cement Sealant which cures to form a hard setting seal and withstands temperatures of up to 1500°C.
Heat resistant up to 1500°C
Does not contain asbestos or other harmful components
Does not crumble or crack after cure
Fire Rating of 120 minutes (Test Report 7830).
Suitable for Internal Use
Sealing of joints and openings at furnaces, heating systems, central heatings, barbecues, etc.
Heat retardant sealing at existing constructions
Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
For use on brickwork, concrete and metals.
Slight moistening of the surface will increase adhesive strength
We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.
Application Method: With a manual or pneumatic caulking gun, spatula or a trowel.
Cleaning: Clean uncured product with a water immediately after use.
Repair: With the same material
Minimum Width for Joints: 5 mm
Maximum Width for Joints: 15 mm
A slight heating up of the installation during 12 hours after application of Firecement HT° will prevent the forming of bubbles and improve the sealant structure.
Do not apply in situations where constant water immersion is possible
