Soudal Repair Express Plaster

Soudal Repair Express Plaster is a high speed acrylic polymer based, lightweight repair plaster used for easy and quick reparation or filling in walls and ceilings (i.e cracks, screw holes etc).

Soudal Repair Express Plaster can be applied by trowel or by use of a sealant gun (if using cartridges).

Soudal Repair Express Plaster is non-shrinking, and may be sanded over and / or painted over once dried.

Product Benefits:

  • Acrylic Polymer High Speed Repair Plaster

  • Very Fast Curing

  • Smooth Finish

  • Non-Shrinking

  • Can Be Sanded After Curing

  • Paintable

  • Very Good Adhesion on Many Porous Materials

Typical Applications:

  • For the reparation of small holes and cracks in Plaster, Concrete, Cellular Concrete etc..

  • For filling and repair of cracks and drilling holes in walls and ceilings (i.e Plasterboard, Concrete, Stone etc.).

  • For indoor reparation of shrinkage cracks and cracks in mineral surfaces (i.e Plasterwork, Concrete, Masonry and Decorative Plaster)

  • For the filling of static joints and cracks in walls and ceilings.

  • Shrink free finishing of seams of synthetic finishing and decorative profiles.

Surface Preparation:

Highly porous surfaces should be primed with diluted Repair Express Plaster ( 1 part Repair Express Plaster + 2 parts water).

Suitable for use on all common porous surfaces in construction, and renovation.

NOT suitable for use on bitumen, glass, metal, PE, PP or PTFE.

We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Application Method:

Remove any loose particles before applying Repair Express Plaster.

Provide any nail heads or other materials with a layer of a paint before applying  Repair Express Plaster. This is to prevent discoloration caused by rust afterwards.

Apply the sealant with a Caulking Gun or putty knife into the crack, joint or screw hole.

Finishing with a wet spatula or trowel gives the smoothest result. For large cracks, static joints or large screw holes apply preferably 2 layers of the product.

Depending on the porosity of the substrate, apply the second layer of
product after approx 1 hour.

Depending on the amount of material applied the product can be painted after 15 minutes to several hours.

Before curing, Repair Express Plaster can be removed with water from tiles and tools.

Finishing with a wet filling knife, trowel or chip gives the smoothest result.

Joint Dimensions:

  • Static Joints: Up to 5mm.

Remarks:

  • Do not use in damp areas or applications where continuous water immersion is possible.

  • Not suitable for outdoor applications.

  • Not suitable for expansion and dilatation joints.

  • Painting with highly filled paints can lead to peeling of the paint.
