Product Description
A premium water repellent designed to repel water from masonry work which allows walls to breathe, reducing the risk of damage caused by water and frost. Conforms to BS6477 substrate groups I & II.
Waterseal is used as a masonry waterproofer suitable for use on brick, stone and concrete. It protects against water and frost, providing a breathable coating which does not change the physical appearance of a building.
A secondary benefit of the product is to repel waterborne dirt and resist fungal growth as well as help reducing heating costs as energy is not wasted in drying out wet walls.
Application
Apply using a low pressure spray (non-atomising) or brush at a rate of 3mē per litre for porous stone and 5mē per litre for hard brick, allowing 6 hours to dry before applying a second coat. Always apply with a smooth action starting at the top and working your way down the wall.
Care should be taken not to splash or mist cars, windows, painted surfaces, plants and ponds. Two coats are recommended for best results, however more coats can be applied.
Coverage
Apply 3 - 5mē per litre depending on porosity of substrate.
