Product Description
Aquatech are advanced wood preservatives supplied in water-soluble sachets which can be used to deal with all remedial timber treatment situations.
Microtech Dual contains the well known triazole fungicide propiconazole and 3-lodo-2- propynyl-butyl carbamate, giving a general purpose treatment for insect attack and to protect timbers at risk from fungal decay (dry rot / wet rot) during a drying period following the elimination of sources of moisture. Manufactured under a quality system complying with BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
Microtech Dual is also based on the pyrethroid insecticide permethrin; for the prevention and eradication of Common Furniture Beetle (Anobium punctatum) and other wood boring insects in building timbers. Permethrin’s well known effectiveness as a remedial insecticide is enhanced even further by the special properties of our microemulsion system allowing optimum pesticide dosing (synergistic action).

Once made, ensure drums of diluted solution are properly labelled during use and in storage. Diluted Aquatech Wood Preservatives can be applied by brush or coarse spray (low pressure: 210-350 kPa, 30-50 lbs/in2) or by immersion (3-10 minutes) to achieve the coverages noted.
